🎨🖌️Free Home Painting for Law Enforcement
WALEC is excited to launch a new community support initiative in partnership with law enforcement and public safety agencies across the State of Georgia. We are now accepting applications from employees of WALEC partner agencies—including police departments, fire departments, and other public safety institutions—who work in Georgia and would like to have a room in their home professionally painted at no cost. 📌Eligibility: Applicants must be employees of a WALEC partner agency in Georgia and meet one of the following criteria: You recently welcomed a new child and want to paint the nursery. You would like to refresh or change the color of your child’s room. You live with and care for your parents and would like to repaint their room. You simply want to repaint your own room for a fresh new look. This is WALEC’s first-ever home painting initiative and is currently limited to two rooms per household. (There is potential for future expansion to full-home painting.)
In addition, WALEC is also preparing a future project to help repair or replace aging roofs for current and retired public safety officers.

We are hosting a Fraud Prevention Seminar in collaboration with the Dekalb County District Attorney’s Office on April 24 at 11:00 AM.
